Meal Planner



This is a cheat’s version of hummus because in this incidence we are using sesame seeds instead of the traditional tahini paste. The seeds give just as nice a flavour and give a nice kick to the hummus.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes


Serves: 4 people

  • 150 g Chickpeas
    (juice retained)
  • 1 dstspn Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves SuperValu Garlic
  • 2 tbsp SuperValu Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp SuperValu Salt
  • 1 tbsp Tahini


  1. Drain chickpeas and set aside liquid from can. Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.
  2. Add some of liquid from chickpeas to adjust the consistency if it is required.
