  • 100 g Brown Sugar
  • 200 g Chocolate Chips
  • 30 g Cocoa Powder
  • 1 medium Egg
  • 80 g Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Instant Coffee , optional
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 230 g Self-Raising Flour
  • 120 g Unsalted Butter , at room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract


  • 1 handfull Candy Eyes
  • 1 handfull Pretzel
  • 1 handfull Red and Brown Peanut M&Ms


  1. Preheat fan oven to 180°C. Mix the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. To the same mixture add the egg and vanilla extract. Next, add flour, cocoa powder, coffee and salt. Once combined gradually add the chocolate chips and mix with your hands into a dough.
  2. Shape the dough into 15 even sized dough balls and place on a lined baking tray.
  3. Flatten each cookie ball down with your hand. Bake at 180°C for approximately 12 minutes.
  4. Whilst still warm decorate the cookies to create your reindeer faces.
