This dry rub is perfect for seasoning chicken and giving your meal that extra pop of flavour.

  • 1 tbsp Black Peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 50 g SuperValu Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp SuperValu Dried Parsley
  • 50 g SuperValu Smoked Paprika


  1. For whatever rub you’re making, place all the ingredients in a pestle and mortar or a food processor and pulse to crush and combine. Store in jars in a cool, dry place. They will keep for several months if well sealed.
