Anne Marie Tobin has lined up some festive food for your pooch or kitty. They’re ideal as a gift for pet-owner friends too.
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
2. Pulse the tinned salmon in a food processor until blended. Add the flour and egg and blend until it forms a dough.
3. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface until the dough is 5mm thick. Use a cookie cutter to create your desired shape. Transfer the treats onto the lined tray and bake in the oven for 7 to 10 minutes, until golden.
4. Allow to cool before treating your cat. Store the treats in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
