RECIPE OVERVIEW

The kids will love decorating these fun Halloween cupcakes.

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Serves: 4 people

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 75 g Butter
  • 150 g Cacao powder
  • 1 - Caster Sugar
  • 1 - Chocolate
    bar, melted to decorate
  • 12 - Cupcake Cases
  • 2 - Eggs
  • 1 - Food Colouring
    pen in black.
  • 12 - Lollipop Sticks
  • 12 - Marshmallows
    white in colour
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 45 - Mini Marshmallows
    white in colour
  • 450 g Plain Flour
  • 1 - Sprinkles
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 36 - White Pretzels

Method

  1. Mix sugar and butter together.
  2. Add 2 eggs. 
  3. Continue mixing.
  4. Add 200 ml milk and mix.
  5. Sieve in 450g flour, 150g cocoa powder and 1 tsp baking powder and mix.
  6. Pour the mixture into 12 cupcake cases in a cupcake tray.
  7. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
  8. Once cooled decorated with melted chocolate, sprinkles, white pretzels and white marshmallows. Use the black food colouring to draw on the skeleton faces.
