  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, then add whatever meat or fish you are using. Marinate anywhere from 20 minutes for prawns or fish or up to 24 hours for large pieces of meat. Remove the meat or fish to a separate dish before cooking to remove any excess liquid.
