SuperValu is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for school children to create self-portraits that will feature in the stands of Croke Park on All-Ireland Football Final Day.
With crowds unable to attend matches for the time being, SuperValu in partnership with the GAA is calling on supporters around the country to ‘Support Where You’re From’ by showing their incredible county passion and pride through the ‘Support From The Stands’ campaign. This initiative offers primary school students the chance to show their county colours on All-Ireland Football Final Day from inside Croke Park.
Thirty lucky primary schools will be selected from throughout Ireland. The children of these primary schools will be given the opportunity to create their own self-portraits on a 100% recyclable board. The boards will be displayed in the stands of Croke Park. They will be seen by the participating inter-county players throughout the All-Ireland Football Final. They will also be seen by millions watching on from around Ireland and throughout the world who will all be wishing that they could be there in Croke Park themselves.
The initiative has been designed to ensure that participating inter-county teams still feel their supporter’s presence from inside the stadium as we know they will still need support on the day. It also allows a lucky number of GAA fans to colour in their county colours and show support in a really fun way.
SuperValu are proudly in their eleventh year as sponsors of the All-Ireland Football Championship.
