Description
This blue from southern Germany is a triple-cream, brie-style cheese made from pasteurised cow’s milk. The cheese is creamy, moist and rich like a Camembert with the sharpness of Gorgonzola. Cambozola is made to be crumbled over the top of your salad. Try it with stout or a glass of Shiraz for a memorable medley of strong flavours.
Pairing Recommendations
Cambozola works very well when cut into wedges and served alongside dried fruits, nuts and bread. Another good use of Cambozola is to use it on top of salads. Cambozola goes extremely well with stout beers, lager, Shiraz or Chenin Blanc.
