Produced using only the finest premium cuts of Irish pork, blended with mild spices and enclosed in a natural casing, Mallon’s sausages are irresistibly tasty. The pork content is at least 70% in every one and the meaty texture is achieved through a specialised production process, which slowly blends the pork and spices to create consistency and subtle flavours. The natural casings are filled by hand, resulting in the unique butcher’s style shape particular to Mallon’s Bord Bia approved ‘bangers’.
These delicious Irish pork sausages are produced by Paddy Mallon in Monaghan town, using a recipe handed down by his father, Arthur. Arthur was a master butcher whose sausages soon became famous in Monaghan and throughout the surrounding counties as the best tasting in Ireland. This tradition is carried on through Paddy and his Supervalu Signature Tastes sausages have so far garnered over 140 awards. Mallon’s have the expertise that is only acquired over time and they’ve been perfecting that craft ever since creating their first sausages back in the 1940s.
