Luxuriant, elegant and irresistible, each Couverture Dessert is handmade and hand finished by our production team of dedicated patissiers. The all important chocolate comes from Callebaut in Belgium and the finest mascarpone cheese arrives fresh from Italy. We locally source our cream, milk, yogurts, eggs, jams, fruit and puree from the finest irish suppliers. All these gorgeous ingredients combine to make desserts that have have gold twice running at the Blas na hEireann and many Great Taste awards also.
After gaining experience with Lir Chocolates, Margaret started Couverture in Tallaght Co.Dublin in 1998 with her sister Geraldine. Since its inception, Couverture has remained passionate about product innovation, always developing delicious new lines. They are constantly looking at new menus and looking to new emerging markets and consumer trends. Over the years the family have developed relationships with chefs and a deep-seated passion for high quality desserts freshly made from the finest ingredients.
