Creamy smoked haddock spinach potato stew recipe


A winter warmer for all the family.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes


Serves: 4 people

  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  • 500 g Haddock Fillets
    skinned, boned and cubed
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g SuperValu Baby Spinach
  • 300 ml SuperValu Light Cream
  • 2 large SuperValu Potatoes
    peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil


1. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan set over a low heat. Add the onion and potatoes and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the onion has started to soften.

2. Add the cream and turmeric and bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and add the smoked haddock. Stir gently and simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in the spinach. Simmer for another 2 minutes, until the spinach has wilted. Serve straight away.
