On the nose the cheese is sweetly smoky, though it’s subtle and not at all overpowering. A slight nutty flavour also comes through.



Eamon Lonergan makes this sweet smoked hard cheese in Co. Waterford’s Blackwater Valley. A multiple award winner, it is just right melted over a barbequed burger as the smokey notes blend with the char-grilled meat.
