Job description:

Main purpose of the role:
Ensure the Meat Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our customers with excellent quality and products and services.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Excellent communication skills

Numerical skill

Customer focused

A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers

The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment,ability to multi-task under pressure

No previous experience necessary as training will be provided

Main duties:

Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative

Drive sales through ensuring SOPs and store standards are met on a daily basis

Merchandise and present department to the highest standard

Implement planograms correctly

Control stock rotation so that quality and freshness of goods is of the highest standard

Manage waste and shrink in the department

Ensure continuous improvement in the Meat Department by remaining up to date with new products and initiatives

Enhance product knowledge by gaining information from a range of sources and share ideas, suggestions and builds

Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working

About the locality:

We are currently recruiting for Experienced Fresh Meat Assistantat Kavanaghs SuperValu in our Barna and Moycullen stores.

We`re looking for committed and skilled FMA to join our growing team in afull-time, long-term role. This position offers stability, a collaborative environment, and the chance to make a real impact.

Must have a proven track record of Butchery/Fresh Meatexperience/skills or related roles, 1-2yrs minimum experience.

Knowledge of HACCP & SOP`s, Food safety & relevant training.

Reliably commute or plan to relocate to our store before commencing employment.

Must be available to work 5days per week on a permanent basis& commence ASAP.

Candidates must be available to work full time flexible hours.

This is a Full Time Permanent Role

Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.

Due to the full-time nature of working hours and required experience,this position is not suitable for students.
