Job description:

Main purpose of the role:
Shop and fulfil orders on behalf of our customers using the SuperValu.ie service.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Previous retail experience is desirable is desirable

Shop to specific targets whilst being selective and accurate with products

Excellent communication skills

Accuracy, attention to detail, organised and flexible

Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties:

Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative

Shop to specific targets whilst being selective and accurate with products

Have good product knowledge to ensure the items that are picked are of the highest quality and substitution chosen are appropriate

Pack the products in the correct temperature zone and in such a way they arrive at the customers€,, home in perfect condition

Make decisions on behalf of customers if products ordered are unavailable

Work on own initiative with very little supervision

Keep up to date with team communication

Deal with routine customer queries.

About the locality:

Online Shopping Assistant required for Riordan's Supervalu Fermoy (P61 AX04)

This is a Permanent Position working approximately 4 - 5 days per week. The successful applicant will be picking orders instore for our Online shopping customers. Applicants will be required to work one Sunday per month on Checkouts - Varying Shift times on Sunday (Overtime Rates for Sundays).Daily Online Shifts are typically from 7.00/8.00am to 4.00pm daily - can vary at times depending on quantity of online orders.

A Cover letter must be submitted with your CV when applying for the position. Applicants must be within commuting distance of Fermoy and be available to work the required shifts.
