General Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter is Musgrave Limited trading as Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland (the “Promoter”) having its place of business at Tramore Road, Cork.
- Duration of the promotion: Each Scan To Win campaign promotional period will involve a prize draw (“Prize Draw”) and will be run on a monthly basis from 00:00 on 1st of each month in 2023 until 23:59 on the last day of each month in 2023 (the “Promotional Period”).
- A Local Prize is a prize to be won in every SuperValu store, including online shopping (the “Local Prize”). There will be one Local Prize for every SuperValu store in the Republic of Ireland in respect of the Promotional Period. A National Prize is a prize to be won across all SuperValu stores in the Republic of Ireland (the “National Prize”).
- The Local Prize is a €100 SuperValu gift card to be won by one customer in each SuperValu store across the Republic of Ireland. Each customer will be entered into the draw for the local prize in the SuperValu store which their Real Rewards card is linked to, being their “Home Store”, and not the specific store in which they shop and scan their Real Rewards card during the Promotional Period.
- The National Prizes for each Scan to Win campaign Promotional Period will consist of ten prizes including one large prize. The prizes for the May Scan to Win prize draw include: a trip to the Visa FIFA Women’s World Cup™ in Australia for 2 adults, thanks to Visa, a €2,000 SuperValu e-gift card, five €500 brand gift card prizes, and three electronic prizes – further terms and conditions and requirements apply in respect of these prizes which are located below.
- The National Prizes will change for each Scan to Win campaign promotional period and the prizes and their respective terms and conditions will be detailed in the prize schedule section to these terms and conditions. The Local Prizes will remain as the €100 SuperValu e-gift card to be won in each store. The prizes for each promotional period will be listed on the prize schedule for each respective promotional period.
- You will receive one entry into the competition for the Local Prize in your Home Store, and one entry for the National Prizes, each time you purchase qualifying goods a SuperValu store or with SuperValu online and scan your Real Rewards card or app (or insert Real Rewards card number online). Some purchases will not qualifying for entry being: Lotto and lottery tickets, phone top-up vouchers, call cards, GAA tickets, gift vouchers, postage stamps, savings stamps, tobacco products, certain medicines, infant formula products and alcohol products.
- You will be able to view your entries via the Real Rewards app or website.
- Each customer shall have a maximum of 25 potential entries to the Prize Draw in respect of each Promotional Period.
- Only Real Rewards members who have opted in to being contacted by the Promoter will be eligible to win the Prize Draw.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or goods. Cash value €0.001c.
- The Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Only one Prize per person during the Promotional Period. The allocation of the prize will be to the individuals who have won the prize.
- Once you have collected all of your entries into the Scan to Win Prize Draw, the Promoter will send you an email. Within this email, you will then be required to answer a test of skill question. You can also answer this question on the Real Rewards app. You will not be entered into the draw without answering this question. The Promoter will work with a loyalty agency, Kasulabo Limited t/a Sweete (“The Administrator”) with an address at 3 Harmony Court, Harmony Row, Dublin 2.
- Following the closing date of each Scan to Win campaign promotional period, the Promoter will send the following information to the Administrator of all Real Rewards members who have entered the Competition and correctly answered the test of skill questions: Real Rewards account number, name, email address, number of entries and Home Store ID.
- By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Administrator and third parties for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and the purpose of awarding prizes. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
- All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. However, if the winners has not responded to notification within 2 days or if a selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner using the same process referred to above in these Terms and Conditions.The Administrator will delete all Promoter data within 30 days of the Prize winners being notified that they have won. The Administrator will select and contact the Winners. The Winners will be notified by the Administrator within 30 days of the closing date of the Promotional Period. Customers, who win any gift cards, whether for SuperValu or another store/company, will be called and then sent an email containing their e-gift card. Customers who win electrical goods, or any physical items that cannot be emailed, will be contacted by the Administrator to confirm their postal address. These prizes will be sent via registered post or by courier.
- Acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission to use the relevant winners name and likeness for the purpose of advertising, promotion or publicity in any media without additional compensation.
- For details of the Winners please send a stamped addressed envelope to SuperValu Competitions, SuperValu, Tramore Road, Cork stating for which competition you would like Winners’ details.
- The Promotion is open only to SuperValu Real Rewards members who are residents of the Republic of Ireland over the age of 18
- The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend, and/or extend the Promotion.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury (other than our liability for personal injury or death as a result of its negligence) or disappointment of any kind suffered by any entrant in entering the Promotion or in connection with the Prize, including but not limited to as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize. The Promoter provides no warranty as to the fitness or condition of the Prize.
- These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including the Promotion), existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law.
- The Courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions or their subject matter, existence, negotiation, validity, termination or enforceability (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
- By participating all participants consent to take part in reasonable media activity in the event they win the competition.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.

Prize Terms and Conditions: FIFA Women’s World Cup™
- Description of Prize: Trip to the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ in Australia for two adults
- Number of winners: 1 winner selected.
- In order to be eligible for a chance to win the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ prize, you must scan your Real Rewards card and pay with any Visa debit or credit card between 1st-31st May 2023.
- In order to guarantee your entries / scans into the draw, a question must be answered within the Real Rewards app/ web between 1st – 10th June 2023.

- Travel dates are 18th – 27th July 2023 (subject to slight change). The winner and their guest must be available and eligible to travel to Australia and if they are not then the Promoter reserves the right to award their prize to another entrant. No alternative prize will be offered.
- All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time.
- The FIFA Women’s World Cup™ prize winners’ details will be provided to Visa for the purpose of arranging the trip to Australia.
- The prize excludes: any meal/activity outside of scheduled itinerary, hotel incidentals (minibar/laundry etc.), passports/visas, any applicable taxes and anything not expressly included in the prize details.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available. Prizes cannot be sold auctioned. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating. Cash value €0.001c
- The promoter’s decision is final in all matters pertaining to the prize.
- By participating all participants consent to take part in media and store activity in the event they win the competition.
- If you cancel your trip for any reason, no alternative will be offered.
- The winner shall be responsible for any damage to the accommodation or other venues (including their contents) visited by the winner and their guests throughout the trip caused as a result of a deliberate or negligent act or omission of the winner or their guests.
