Basil and Avocado Pesto

What can't avocado do? This pesto is the perfect accompaniment for nearly any dish.

  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 50 g Parmesan Cheese finely grated
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt to taste
  • 0.5 - SuperValu Avocado peeled and stoned
  • 80 g SuperValu Fresh Basil
  • 2 tbsp SuperValu Pine Nuts
  • 3 tbsp Water plus more if necessary


  1. Put all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until it’s your desired consistency. Check the seasoning and texture and add a few more spoonfuls of water if you like.
  2. The pesto will keep in the fridge for a few days or for several months in the freezer.
