Did you know that bees helped put the strawberries in your sundae and the apples in your fruit bowl? As vital pollinators, Ireland’s bees have a key role to play when it comes to growing fruit and vegetables.
Thank you to all the primary schools who took part in the SuperValu TidyTowns Save the Bees initiative in association with the National Biodiversity Data Centre and the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan
We hope you all have had lots of fun spreading the pollinator friendly seeds and learning all about the important role that Bees play in our everyday lives.
