Keohane Seafoods is a family run business who pride themselves on innovation & product quality. Michael Keohane & his 2 sons, Colman & Brian, decided to team up in 2010 after spotting a gap in the market for added value seafood. With over 6 decades of combined experience, they have become recognised for their outstanding knowledge of, and appreciation of the finest quality seafood.
SuperValu’s long-term relationship with Keohane’s has helped them to create, maintain & add to their employment level. They have enjoyed a successful 9 years in business together, with many more to come, & have generated local jobs both in Cork City & Bantry in West Cork. They employ over 200 staff in Ireland and are one of Ireland and UK’s largest Seafood processors.
They boast state of the art processing facilities that allows them to create their specialised cuts giving our customers a greater choice of seafood products. They have an innovative and pioneering new product development team. They are flexible and adaptable to their customers needs. They are also fully accredited to the highest international standards.
They have 2 production facilities: a 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Cork City & a 65,000 sq. ft. facility in their native Bantry which features their new custom-built smokehouse.
