We are Paddy and Dee Fitzgerald, brother & sister, chef and doer, from Woodfire & Green Restaurant in Sandyford, Dublin who have been running a successful posh burger and wing restaurant since 2016.
With changing times, less money, take aways getting more expensive plus people nesting and really enjoying relaxing at home, after a long day or week people are really looking for that nice treat to reward themselves, that L’Oreal feeling! Our big vision is to enable people to easily recreate the experience of our restaurant in the comfort of their home at a fraction of the cost.
Introducing ‘Nights in with Woodfire & Green’ our range of restaurant inspired fresh sauces making your life easier, exciting and oh so more enjoyable. Paddy, an innovative Chef has crafted and perfected his sauces so that now everyone can make restaurant chicken wings at home, elevate their burger into the poshest burger in town, and indulge yourself with our Blue Cheese Dip. The ultimate reward and treat!
First up meet our hero, the Wing sauce; made with real Irish butter - a buttery, velvety, tangy, and punchy flavour experience – decide whether you want a starter or main course portion, no heating is needed, simply toss it over your wings, kick back and enjoy!
For those seeking a creamy indulgence our Blue Cheese Dip, is truly unique and made with Cashel Blue Cheese – the perfect partner to dip your wings into but can also be drizzled over veggies, poured onto pasta, or simply dip your celery or nachos in for a cheesy delight that will leave you craving for more. Fun Fact; it’s made with the cuts-offs from spools of Cashel Blue Cheese so not only are we treating you to a moorish delight we’re turning waste into a culinary masterpiece!
And last but certainly not least our Posh Burger Sauce ; lash it onto your bun and elevate your burger with its tantalising and delicious pickle and dill flavours! In fact, this Burger sauce tastes so good it won Silver in Ireland’s food awards - Blas na hÉireann .
We know this partnership with SuperValu is the start of a very big journey for us as we aim to take on the bland expensive take away and treat our customers to 5* food. The program has been a game changer for us helping us move from a great- tasting sauce made in our restaurant kitchen to creating a brand with a clear purpose on shelf.
