The Woofing Oven is a Dublin-based home-run bakery for dogs, crafting a fun and creative range of gourmet treats to pamper your furry friends with the love and care they deserve.
Our journey began in 2022 when I, Georgia Gonzalez, a passionate cook/baker, and devoted dog lover, discovered a way to merge my expertise in Cake Decorating and Sugar craft to create a cake for my six-year-old cockapoo, Bella. The overwhelming success of Bella's cake, not only among canine companions but also with friends and acquaintances, highlighted a niche in the market for Celebration Dog treats! Thus, I, the crazy dog lover and passionate baker, embarked on the adventure of The Woofing Oven, believing wholeheartedly that dogs merit the best.
Initially venturing into the dog treats market under the name of Bon A Pet Treats, we offered a diverse range of seasonal treats (Easter, Halloween, Christmas), training treats, and our signature Woofles and Dognutz. We made our mark by participating in numerous weekend markets, dog shows, and farming events since 2022.
The positive recognition and feedback from Irish customers for Bon A Pet Treats, coupled with a demand for more fun, indulgent yet healthy dog treats, encouraged us to embrace a new chapter with the guidance of Food Academy and SuperValu. Under The Woofing Oven brand, we are refining our Doggie cakes, Dognutz, and Woofles to suit retail standards.
At The Woofing Oven, we firmly believe that dog treats should be crafted with love, care, and thoughtfulness. That's why all our products are homemade, created in small batches, reaffirming our commitment to producing celebratory dog treats made from 100% natural ingredients, locally sourced, and proudly the first specialized treats produced and marketed in Ireland.
