Flavoursome fuel without the fuss for all the family to enjoy and fight over. Nutorious creates scrumptious snacks with only a few simple ingredients.
Nutorious is a small food business from Knockbrandon, Gorey, Co. Wexford who
specialises in making spectacular creations from simple, straightforward and basic
ingredients. Having attended the Gorey Farmers Market for the first time during the August
Bank Holiday of 2020, the founder, Úna Sinnott, has been astonished by the interest in her
100% natural selection of nutty and seedy snacks & granola. All products are gluten free,
wheat free, dairy free and free from long ingredient lists!
Nutorious was created by Úna in the same month that she graduated from UCD with a first
class honours degree in Food and Agribusiness Management at the age of 22. Since
establishing, Nutorious has won three Blas na hEireann awards, stocks approximately 25
cafes across Leinster, launched a website in December 2022, has been featured on the
Late Late Show’s Business Special, was a finalist in the County Wexford 2022 Business
Awards and has undergone kitchen expansion work in the Autumn of 2022.
The Nutorious products are a hit with all members of the family, young and old (big and
bold). Products our packed full of nutrient dense, whole food ingredients to keep up your
energy with satisfying sustenance. What you see is what you get. Simple ingredients and
no fuss. Good-for-you food that tastes great too, made easy.
Úna certainly believes in dreaming big whilst starting small and that is exactly what
Nutorious has done since day one. Now in 2023, you can share the dream by purchasing
some of Nutorious’s most popular items in your local Supervalu. What began at the Gorey
Farmers Market has come to a shelf near you with the help of the Food Academy
Programme and that is something we can all celebrate.
