We are a small family run business in Quin, Co. Clare, established in 1975, by my Dad and Uncle Ollie when they opened their first butcher shop in Ennis. My Dad had a keen interest in making good quality pudding and sausage which proved to be a big success on the butcher counter. Space got tight, so he decided to build a self-contained unit in Quin, alongside the family home.
After producing quality products for years, our big chance came when we joined the Food Academy. A new market plan was put in place, a fresh new pack was developed, but the pudding stayed the same. Since joining the Food Academy, we have won awards for our traditional pudding, which is now available in SuperValu stores.
