Irish Hedgerow
Julian and Helen live in the beautiful South Tipperary countryside, very close to the River Suir and the Waterford border. For years we have used the produce of the hedgerow to create interesting foods and drinks for ourselves and our family and friends. In 2013 we started our company, Irish Hedgerow and crafted our range of Sparkling Elderflower Refresher Drinks to share our passion for the fabulous flavours of nature that we enjoy from the plants that surround our house. We have since expanded our range to include award-winning Tonic Waters and Cordials.
Irish Hedgerow Elderflower Drinks are an exciting way to experience the delicacies that grow naturally in the Irish countryside. The wild elderflowers from which we craft our drinks are handpicked from hedgerows near Drangan, Cloneen and Newcastle and further afield in South Tipp and North Waterford and we take time to ensure that our other ingredients are GMO-free. Nature produces such marvellous flavours, fragrances and textures that we feel it is a shame to mess with them!
In 2015 Julian attended the Food Academy programme run by SuperValu, Bord Bia and Local Enterprise units. We started selling our product in Tipperary SuperValu’s and we are now stocked in stores across most counties in Ireland.
