Clashganny Organic Farm
Richard and Sheila have been growing their crisp tangy organic eating apples for nearly 20 years in their organic orchards in Portlaw Co Waterford.
The trees are perfectly situated on the sunny banks of the river Suir where they enjoy perfect growing conditions. Our apples grow organically and so are free of chemicals and pesticides. We supply delicious eating apples to our loyal customers around the country.
Over the last number of years, we have explored ways of extending our product range. After some market and consumer research, we identified that there were very few Irish Organic apple products available in Ireland. Coupled with this, it was clear that that people are more informed about foods and drinks with health benefits than ever before. We also know people are becoming increasingly interested in their health and using supplements and natural “good for you” foods. As part of a healthy diet, there is an increased demand for products such as Apple Cider vinegar.
Based on the obvious market gap, and consumer demand (not to mention the ready supply of apples at our organic farm), we decided to develop an Irish organic apple cider vinegar. So now all the goodness from our organic apples goes into our organic apple cider vinegar!
