Arán Magic Sauce
Arán, our award-winning outlet for locally sourced fresh food, was established by husband and wife Michelin-trained chef team, Bart Pawlukojć and Nicole Server-Pawlukojć, in 2019 in the Medieval City of Kilkenny. Soon after, in 2020, Arán Deli and Bakery opened right across the road. Bart Pawlukojć and Nicole Server-Pawlukojć, driven by their passion for culinary excellence and love for good food, amassed experience working in some of the world's finest restaurants before settling in Denmark, where they met, worked, fell in love, and married. Though they hail from diverse culinary backgrounds, they converge in Arán Bakery & Bistro to share a taste of their global culinary journey with you.
Arán Bakery & Bistro serves as our creative canvas, allowing us to offer top-quality food accessible to all. Our philosophy is centered on simplicity, crafting delicious dishes from locally sourced ingredients that everyone can relish in our restaurant. Flexibility is paramount to us; like the weather, our menus evolve daily based on seasonal availability and the offerings of our local producers. Our brunch and dinner menus highlight the finest produce from Kilkenny and nearby counties, featuring locally grown stoneground flour from The Little Mill in Bennettsbridge, Goatsbridge trout, Dizzy Goat Farms goat cheese, Mooncoin Beetroot from Mooncoin, Apple Syrup, Vinegar, and Treacle from Highbank Orchards in Cuffesgrange, Fresh Vegetables from Riversfield Organic Farm in Callan, Ballon Farms Free Range Eggs from Ballylean, Ballon, Co Carlow, among many others!
In our expansion, we're introducing the Arán Magic Sauce, a versatile sauce crafted in Kilkenny in small batches using only fresh, clean ingredients. Developed by Michelin-trained chefs, the Arán Magic Sauce is plant-based and Korean-inspired, elevating your everyday meals effortlessly. Whether used hot or cold, it enhances the flavours of your dishes, adding a touch of magic. Perfect with noodles, meats, morning eggs, leftovers, or vegetables, its applications are endless!
