Absolute Nutrition
I founded Absolute Nutrition in 2014 when I realised that there was a gap in the market for quality handmade snacks. Making healthier, quick and tasty snacks at home was second nature to me with a busy job and four small children, but I had a dream that these should be available in supermarkets as-well, a convenient grab and go option for everyone to access. I quickly discovered a natural flair for flavour creation and can now boast a range of award-winning snacks all made from my gluten free bakery which is based in Rathcoole Co. Dublin.
Our snacks are handmade daily in our bakery using functional high quality whole-foods such as almonds, coconut and chia seeds. Our date paste and nut butters are made fresh and there is nothing extra added, just pure goodness. We dedicate a lot of time to making small batch snacks to satisfy a sweet tooth and also fuel your day.
We are on a mission to create the best possible snacks & treats without ever compromising on taste or quality and have worked with the same trusted Irish suppliers since 2014. Not only is our philosophy one of minimal processing but its also about taking care of our planet and reducing, re-using and recycling. All of our packaging is fully recyclable or reusable and we boast a zero food waste policy in our bakery.
We currently employ a number of local people on our team and not only invest in our team and their up-skilling but we also treat each other as family. At Absolute Nutrition we regular contribute to charity events across the country including the Jack & Jill Foundation, Tallaght Hospital, Spina Bifida Ireland and Darkness into Light.
The SuperValu Food Academy propelled us into the world of food and business. Initial learning on the programme gave us the information, skills, contacts and confidence to continue to grow our business. Over the last 10 years we have grown with the Food Academy and supply SuperValu stores nationwide with ongoing marketing and support from the Food Academy Team.
