Plaice, Carrot and Parsnip Mash


Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes


Serves: 7 people

  • 0 - Black Pepper
  • 0 - Milk
    for thinning if needed
  • 0 - SuperValu Butter
  • 225 g SuperValu Carrot
  • 250 g SuperValu Fresh Plaice Fillets
  • 225 g SuperValu Parsnip


  1. Peel and chop carrots and parsnips and place in a steamer for 15-20 mins to soften.
  2. Cook the plaice fillets as per instructions on bag, either in the microwave or oven.
  3. Check carefully for bones.
  4. Combine the plaice, carrots and parsnips in a bowl and mash.
  5. Add a small bit of butter and seasoning.
  6. Add breast or formula milk to thin if needed
