Operation Transformation Recipe

Preparation time: 60 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes


Serves: 2 people

  • 1 - Green Pepper
  • 50 g Ham
  • 1 pinch Polenta
  • 90 g SuperValu Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 70 g SuperValu Sweetcorn 326g
  • 2 tbsp SuperValu Tomato Purée
Pizza Base
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 150 g Strong Flour
  • 100 ml Water
  • 0.5 tsp Yeast
  • 120 ml SuperValu Tomato Passata


  1. Add the flour to a bowl and make a well. Now add yeast and salt in a large bowl. Pour in the warm water and the oil and mix to a rough dough. It should now feel damp but not overly sticky.
  2. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface and knead the dough for 5 - 10 minutes.
  4. Lightly coat a bowl and cling film with some oil. Put in the dough and cover.
  5. You can leave the dough to rise in a warm room for 1 hour until it’s doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180.
  7. Lightly dust your work surface with flour and knead your dough again. Then roll it out into a round shape.
  8. Sprinkle Polenta onto the baking tray and put the dough on top.
  9. Mix the pasata and tomato purée in a bowl.
  10. Spread the tomato mix onto the pizza base.
  11. Add the sweetcorn, peppers, and ham to the pizza and then add grated cheese on top.
  12. Place in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
