Food Safety & Quality Team

The Food Safety & Quality Team in SuperValu is responsible for all elements of Food Safety and Quality from producer to consumer.

The team is composed of experienced food professionals with diverse experience across industry and retail - all dedicated to providing the best for our consumers.

The team continuously assesses product food safety and quality and supplier performance to ensure that the standards set are being met consistently. On any given day we can be visiting and approving producers, out at store, inspecting products in our distribution centres, evaluating the quality of an Own Brand product, or investigating an issue. Above all the team has a shared passion for excellence and continuous improvement which we like to think shines through in the products in our stores
