EARL GREY HOT WHISKEY
1 teaspoon dark sugar Place the sugar in a hot toddy glass
35ml Powers Irish Whiskey and pour in the whiskey. With a
120ml hot Earl Grey tea teaspoon, mix the sugar with the
1 lemon twist studded with cloves whiskey to form a paste, then pour in
the hot tea and stir to combine. Add
the lemon twist studded with cloves
to serve.
Busy Tip
The spiced juice can be made
in advance and in fact will taste
better when everything has been Earl Grey hot whiskey
left to infuse. Just add the brandy
when you serve.
Hot pear & brandy Easy Peeler Tip
Use a vegetable peeler to remove the lemon
twist. It gives a fresh citrus zest that balances
out the tannins of the tea and whiskey.
