PJ Rigney, started this shed distillery,
with it’s medieval copper pot stills. He
then began a quest to fuse Oriental
botanicals with the local Irish ones.
The result of this passionate
exploration is Drumshanbo
Gunpowder Irish Gin - unique,
extraordinary and remarkable as the
elusive creature PJ has occasionally
glimpsed in the fi elds, the Drumshanbo
Jackalope, that features on the bottle.

TASTING NOTE
PERFECT SERVE Delightfully fresh and rounded up front with
citrus, juniper & spicy notes immediately
evident. The expected juniper follows close
Serve with a full chilli pepper & tonic, behind. Gunpowder tea, meadowsweet &
ice cold in large goblet glass. coriander are all notable. The overall impression
is of a very well balanced and surprising gin.
