Yogurt with fruit and spices
Gluten free SERVES 4
400g natural or Greek yogurt Place the yogurt in a
2 tablespoons caster sugar or bowl and stir in the
honey sugar and garam
1 teaspoon garam masala masala. Layer the
1 banana, finely chopped yogurt, fruit and nuts
1 apple, grated, with or without in four individual
skin glasses and serve
8 cashew nuts, finely chopped, plus sprinkled with some
extra to garnish extra cashew nuts on
top. Serve cold.

MAKE YOUR OWN GARAM MASALA
Combine the seeds from six cardamom
pods, three black peppercorns, one clove
and ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
and crush together in a pestle and
mortar. This makes about 1 teaspoon, so
make a little extra if you like, but use it
up quickly or the flavours will fade.

Swap the sugar for
honey in this dessert
