Chunky Moroccan harira soup
SERVES 6
5 carrots, thinly sliced Put 3 or 4 tablespoons of water
1 onion, fi nely chopped in a large family-sized pan on a
5 garlic cloves, fi nely chopped medium heat, then stir in the carrots,

1 x 400g tin of chickpeas, drained and a lid, reduce the heat to low and
rinsed cook gently for 15 minutes, stirring
