A delightful twist on the classic Mary Rose sauce, guaranteed to be enjoyed by your guests.

  • 1 - Baguette slices toasted
  • 2 tbsp Irish Whiskey
  • 150 ml Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Pickled Ginger
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 sprigs SuperValu Fresh Parsley or fresh coriander, to garnish
  • 300 g SuperValu Smoked Salmon sliced
  • 50 ml Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce


  1. Combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, whiskey and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl and check the seasoning. Cover the bowl with cling film and set aside in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
  2. On a serving dish, arrange the smoked salmon in individual portions folded into rose shapes. Serve with toasted baguette slices and pickled ginger with the whiskey dip on the side. Garnish with a sprig of coriander or parsley.
