  • 500 ml Chicken Stock Cube
  • 2 dstspn Plain Flour
  • 1 glass Red Wine
  • 25 g SuperValu Butter
  • 0 - SuperValu Whole Black Peppercorns to season


  1. Place the roasting tin on the stove top on a high heat and add the flour. Stir continuously until the flour is browned.
  2. Pour in the wine and the stock and whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Transfer the gravy to a saucepan and boil for approximately 10 minutes, remove the pan from the heat and add the butter.
  4. Stir for a minute or two until you have achieved a nice glossy gravy.
