Operation Transformation Recipe - Try this comforting Paprika pork and mash dish with sauted green beans

  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 400 g Green Beans
  • 25 ml Low Fat Milk
  • 3 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 250 g Potato peeled
  • 250 g SuperValu Quality Irish Pork Steak
  • 1 tsp SuperValu Smoked Paprika


  1. Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan / gas mark 4
  2. Add peeled potatoes to a pot of boiling water and simmer until cooked for approximately 15-20 minutes
  3. Once cooked drain water from potatoes and mash with milk and butter
  4. Combine paprika, smoked paprika and 2 teaspoons of olive oil to make mixture
  5. Rub mixture over pork steak, cover with kitchen foil and place in oven for 30 - 40 minutes until cooked through
  6. Put remaining oil into a pan, add crushed garlic and green beans. Saute until tender
  7. Take pork steak out of oven, slice and serve with the mashed potatoes
