  • 100 g Butter softened
  • 375 g Condensed Milk
  • 200 g Dark Chocolate broken into pieces
  • 200 g Demerara Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Liquid Glucose
  • 100 g SuperValu Goodness Pecan Nuts or walnuts, roughly chopped


  1. Grease a 20cm x 35cm tray and line it with non-stick baking paper, allowing the paper to slightly overhang the edges.
  2. Pour the condensed milk and glucose syrup into a heavy-based saucepan and add the brown sugar and butter. Cook over a very low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture has thickened and is a lovely caramel colour.
  3. Remove from the heat, then stir in the chocolate pieces and pecans. Pour the mixture into the prepared tray and allow to cool slightly before placing in the fridge to set for a minimum of 4 hours.
  4. Remove the fudge from the baking tray and cut into approximately 20 squares. Store for up to two weeks in an airtight container in the fridge between layers of greaseproof paper.
