Ingredients

  • 1 - Black Pepper
  • 50 g Light Brown Sugar
  • 100 g Sultanas
  • 150 mls SuperValu Apple Juice
  • 20 g SuperValu Butter
  • 2 - SuperValu Granny Smith Apples Peeled, Cored and cut into small chunks
  • 1 - SuperValu Salt
  • 2 - SuperValu Shallots Sliced

Method

  1. Take 2 tablespoons of cooking fat from the roasting tin and place it in a small pan.

  2. Add the shallots and cook over a medium heat for 2 to 3
    minutes.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to the
    boil.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 6 to 8 minutes,
    until thickened.

  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
