Treats by Sylvia is an Irish owned baking business based in Dublin, which specialises in Cheesecakes.
Sylvia Kennedy, owner of Treats by Sylvia always had a passion for baking and sought after running her own business one day. That dream became a reality when COVID struck in 2021 and Sylvia left her long term office job to pursue her dream.
What started off as a home baking business in a small purpose built kitchen at the back of her home, turned into a successful business now operating in her own production kitchen in Dublin City Centre, currently employing three staff and having her first refrigerated van on the road.
With the help from her Local Enterprise Office and Inner City Enterprise, Treats by Sylvia has just gone from strength to strength.
Sylvia completed the SuperValu Food Academy Programme which gave her a great insight into the retail sector and has helped her business and brand grow.
Treats by Sylvia won Two Gold awards in the Blas Na hEireann and Irish Quality Food Awards, winning best Cakes/Desserts in Ireland.
Treats by Sylvia’s Cheesecakes are all handmade fresh using the highest quality of Irish ingredients and beautifully presented in sustainable packaging, known for it’s unique domed shaped pot, bursting full of flavour making it stand out from anything else you will taste on the market.
From the beginning the feedback from customers has been exceptional. Treats by Sylvia currently stocks in over 40 plus locations across Dublin and caters for many occasional and corporate events.
Most recently Treats by Sylvia has teamed up with Sorrento Pizza Ireland as their dessert supplier for their new online shop. This will give customers the opportunity to purchase Treats by Sylvia’s award winning cheesecakes nationwide.
