The air fryer is the new kitchen 'must-have'! Here, celeb chef Kevin Dundon shows us some clever ways to use your air fryer to create mouthwatering meal options. A delicious sharing plate for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pinch Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 - Lemon (zest)
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 50 g Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 4 tbsp Plain Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt and Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tbsp SuperValu Signature Tastes Harissa Sauce
  • 1 pack SuperValu Signature Tastes Wild Atlantic Prawns

Method

1. Preheat the air fryer or oven to 200°C.
2. In a bowl, combine the flour and corn flour with some salt and pepper.
3. In a second bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with lemon zest and chilli flakes.
4. Crack the eggs with a tbsp of water in a third bowl and beat well until light and frothy.
5. Dip the prawns in the flour mix, then in the beaten eggs, then in the breadcrumb mixture, tossing to coat the prawns well in the crumbs.
6. Transfer the prawns to the basket of the air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the prawns are golden and cooked through.
7. Remove the prawns from the air fryer and enjoy immediately with the harissa sauce dip.
8. To Oven Cook: Drizzle some sunflower oil on a baking tray, and add  drizzle over the prepared prawns. Roast for 6-8 minutes until coloured and cooked through.
9. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and harissa sauce until smooth.
10. Serve prawns with harissa dip and enjoy!
