Wildberry Bakery commenced trading over two years ago, in the village of Ballineen in West Cork. It is run by husband and wife, Tom and Susan Robbins Fehily. Previously, they ran a café and food store in the village dating back to 1924, before expanding into the gluten free market.
From their state of the art bakery, Tom and Susan produce award winning gluten free cakes using local and natural ingredients, and specialise in producing gorgeous cakes that taste so good it is hard to believe they are gluten free. This is achieved through a careful balance of clean, local ingredients and traditional scratch baking methods. You will not find any additives or preservatives in their cakes.
As recent graduates from the Food Academy, Wildberry have been given a tremendous insight into the way that SuperValu works, which enables them to provide the best possible service to SuperValu customers.
Since joining the Food Academy, they have added one full time employee to their staff and hope to add two more in the summer of 2016.
