The Burren Smokehouse is a family-run business that was set up in 1989 by Birgitta & Peter Curtin in Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare. We believe in finest quality food products, good customer care and a good group of team workers to ensure that we keep up our high standards. Birgitta and husband Master Smoker Peter carefully source Irish quality raw materials to produce their superb smoked salmon, mackerel, and trout in our highly acclaimed, award winning traditional smokehouse.
The Burren Smokehouse is a member of Slow Food Ireland and Good Food Ireland, two prestigious organisations concerned with the promotion and marketing of handcrafted artisan food made in Ireland. We are proud of our long serving team of dedicated and skilled workers and continue our commitment to grow the business. We are excited to partner with the Musgrave group to develop our brand nationally in Supervalu stores and within the Food Academy family.
