Pumpkin Soup


Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes


Serves: 6 people

  • 0 - Black Pepper
  • 2 - Carrots
  • 400 ml Chicken Stock Cube
    /Homemade Salt-Free Stock/Baby Chicken Stock
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1 - SuperValu Onion
  • 500 g SuperValu Pumpkin


  1. Skin, de-seed and chop the pumpkin.
  2. Slice the carrots and the onion.
  3. Place the onions and carrots in a sauce pan and add the stock and simmer for approx 10 min's until the carrots have softened slightly.
  4. Add the pumpkin and the milk and simmer for a further 10 min's.
  5. Allow to cool, when cool, place in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  6. Taste and season if necessary.
