Prosecco & Pomegranate Cocktail

RECIPE OVERVIEW

By rolling the pomegranate vigorously on a hard surface you will release the juice from the seed sacs resulting in more juice, you can add or omit the seeds from this cocktail.

Ingredients

Serves: 8 people

  • 100 ml Grenadine
  • 1 bottle Grifon Prosecco Frizante 75cl
  • 0 - Pomegranate seeds to garnish
    optional
  • 1 - SuperValu Pomegranate
    juiced
  • 8 - SuperValu Sugar Cubes

Method

  1. Place a sugar cube into the base of each champagne flute.
  2. Pour in a little pomegranate juice and a dash of grenadine into each glass and top with some sparkling Prosecco.
  3. Serve immediately.

Top Top

Don’t want to use grenadine? Make your own pomegranate syrup. Just simmer equal amounts of pomegranate juice and caster sugar and simmer until reduced by half. A raspberry or cherry syrup could also be used.
