This cordial has a strong flavour of stewed strawberry and a nice tartness from the raspberry in the background. It’s lovely with some sparkling water.

- Roughly chop the strawberries and raspberries and put them in a large saucepan. Add the honey, water and cloves and slowly bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Once it comes to the boil, lower the heat and let it simmer gently for about 20 minutes.
- Take off the heat and leave to cool for 15 minutes before pouring through a fine mesh sieve or a piece of cheesecloth. Pour into a sterilised bottle using a funnel.
- Once cool, store in the fridge for up to a month.
