Ingredients

Serves: 4 people

  • 3 - Carrots
    chopped, to serve
  • 3 sticks Celery
    chopped, to serve
  • 2 tins Chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil Leaves
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 cup Tahini
  • 0.5 cup Water

Method

  1. Add all of the ingredients to your food processor bar the water.
  2. Blitz on high until creamy, adding some water if necessary.
  3. Serve and enjoy – we tried out a fun new way of serving it coming out of our carved watermelon to entice the younger ones to give it a go!

This is a great recipe for getting the kids to tuck into hummus, it is so rich in key nutrients – the perfect thing to have in their tummies before all of the sweets!
