Fusilli with brocolli, courgette and gremolata


Gremolata can be used as a zinging condiment on just about anything.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes


Serves: 4 people

  • 250 g Broccoli
    Cut into florets
  • 1 - SuperValu Courgette
  • 0 handfull SuperValu Fresh Parsley Flat Leaf
  • 400 g SuperValu Fusilli Pasta
  • 1 clove SuperValu Garlic
    Finely Chopped
  • 2 tsp SuperValu Lemon
  • 1 tbsp SuperValu Olive Oil
  • 0 - SuperValu Salt


  1. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to the packet instructions.
  2. When there is just 5 minutes left of the pasta cooking time add the courgette and broccoli.
  3. While the pasta is cooking prepare the gremolata. Combine all the gremolata ingredients except the olive oil. This condiment is dry and you sprinkle it on top.
  4. If you want to make extra it will last longer if you combine it with the olive oil or you can leave out the oil and sprinkle it like salt and pepper, though this dish will need a glug of oil for moisture.
