The perfect fresh peppery prawns for your barbecue

200 g Mayonnaise
2 tbsp SuperValu Fresh Basil
1 - SuperValu Lime
zested and juiced
2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Red Pepper
6 - Skewers
soaked in water to prevent buring
24 - SuperValu King Prawns
peeled, leaving tails intact, deveined
1 - SuperValu Limes
cut into wedges
1 tsp SuperValu Salt
- Preheat a barbecue or grill to a medium to high heat.
- To make the mayonnaise, combine the lime zest and juice, the mayonnaise and basil and stir to combine.
- Thread the prawns, tail-end first, onto the bamboo skewers.
- Combine the salt with the black and pink pepper in a bowl. Sprinkle the peppers seasoning over the prawns and cook on grill for 1 to 2 minutes each side or until prawns change colour. Serve with lime mayonnaise.
