Falafels recipe


Siobhan Berry of shares her recipe for delicious baked falafels.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes


Serves: 4 people

  • 2 tins Chickpeas
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 handfull SuperValu Fresh Coriander
  • 2 handfull SuperValu Fresh Parsley Flat Leaf


  1. Preheat oven to 200 and line a baking tray with some parchment paper.
  2. Add all of ingredients to your food processor and blend until combined but not completely smooth.
  3. Form the chickpea mixture into your desired shape.
  4. Place on the prepared baking sheet with enough room to roll over each one. Bake about 20 minutes, rolling over each falafel about halfway through to ensure even browning.
