Martin fish spiced salmon kebabs


These skewers are perfect for get togethers. Don't be tempted to move the kebabs around on the grill or they will fall apart. Just turn them once.

Serves: 4 people

  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 2 - Lemon
    thinly sliced into rounds
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tbsp SuperValu Fresh Parsley Flat Leaf
  • 600 g SuperValu Fresh Salmon Darnes
    cut into 12cm pieces
  • 0.5 tsp SuperValu Smoked Paprika


  1. Preheat the grill to medium. Soak 16 bamboo skewers in a baking dish filled with water. 
  2. Combine the parsley, sesame seeds, cumin, salt and smoked paprika in a large bowl.
  3. Take a pair of skewers and thread a piece of salmon onto both of them. Next add a folded lemon slice and repeat, finishing with a piece of salmon. You should have 8 kebabs in total. 
  4. Brush with oil and season with the spice mixture. Grill for 5 to 8 minutes, turning just once, until the fish is cooked. Serve with salad or rice.
